DIY eyelash extensions (also known as temporary lashes, semi-permanent or false lashes) are individual lash clusters that are easily applied one by one to the under or upper side of the natural lash line with a semi-permanent adhesive. The Citizen Lash system helps to create longer, fuller looking lashes that will last up to 5 days without removal. To apply an entire lash set, place anywhere from 2-6+ lash clusters to each eye. Each lash set is reusable up to 10+ times and the learning curve for DIY lashes is not extensive, anyone can do it.

At first I thought these were going to be a more dramatic lash look but they have quickly become an absolutely must reach for DIY lash. Things that stand out to me is the user friendly application!! They are SO easy to pop on — what blew me away the most is they literally look like I just got my lashes done. As someone who used to get lashes done regularly I constantly get asked what salon I go to and people are shocked they are just DIY clusters!! They are also sooo light weight and some brands I find feel really thick at the lash line and almost itchy, I can sleep in these, wash my face and they feel + look so good.

MY STRIP LASH DAYS ARE OVER AND DONE. First of all, I want to start off my thanking Citizen Lash for the recommendation when I told them I wanted a flirty look. I always go for classic and natural and the ‘Textured Cat Eye’ was the perfect transition to something fun and new. Secondly, application was so easy because of the mapping on the box and the video demonstration. What I realized upon applying is that the lashes aren’t heavy, itchy, or hard to peel away from the box which impressed me instantly. Also, big note, I am usually allergic to lash glue and typically have to seek a non-formaldehyde option when shopping, but before even reading product details, I trusted that Citizen Lash considered all issues and concerns before launching this product and they did not disappoint. It felt comfortable on the eye the whole day. The tweezers made the application painless in a way that it didn’t require a specific way to hold the lash or tool. When it came time to remove, it felt effortless. Although they recommend proper removal, my reckless peeling didn’t feel damaging or difficult. The lashes are so lightweight and the glue is gentle. It also didn’t leave any sticky/ stringy residue either. Also under the lash application is a game changer. I never expected that to ever be an option. The best part is that after one wear you have so many more left! It couldn’t be a more perfect set up and you can tell in creating this product that the client satisfaction was their main priority. It checked all the boxes!!
