How To Remove Your DIY Lashes

Taking off your DIY lashes shouldn’t feel messy or confusing, and once you know how to do it properly, it’s actually really simple.

Step 1: Shake your remover

Give your remover a quick shake so everything’s mixed.

Step 2: Get your applicator ready

Take off the lid and fully saturate your applicator so you’re not going back in a bunch of times.

Step 3: Do one eye at a time

I always do one eye at a time so I can still see what I’m doing.

Close your eye and brush the remover along your lash line. You’ll feel them start to loosen pretty quickly.

Step 4: Let them slide off

If you’re just taking them off, you can gently brush them off as they loosen (I like to keep a face cloth underneath me to catch the lashes as they fall off).

Step 5: If you want to reuse them

Start in one section and take them off one by one. As you remove each one, place it back in the tray where it came from (A, B, C, etc.). It won’t look perfect and that’s totally fine, you just want to keep a general idea of where everything goes.

Clean them

Once they’re off, you’ll notice a bit of remover on them. Just use warm water and a tiny bit of soap (I love Johnsons baby soap) and run each lash through your fingers to break down the oil, then either place them back in the tray or lay them on a paper towel or cloth to dry.

That’s it. It’s super quick once you get used to it, and makes reusing them way easier. You can also watch the tutorial here 🤍
