Love your lashes but wish it had a little more darkness? The good news is you don't need a whole new style to get there. A couple of small tweaks to how you apply your lashes can take your set from soft to bold.
A little darker:
Instead of placing each fan directly beside the last one, overlap the tips slightly as you go. That small overlap adds density along the lash line and gives you a noticeably bolder look without changing anything else about your set.
Double the darkness:
If you want serious depth, double up your set. Apply your first full set as usual, then go back and apply a second full set either directly on top of the first or just above it, sitting higher on the lash line. It sounds like it would feel heavy, but it stays surprisingly lightweight since you're working with the same thin DIY lash bands.
Both methods let you customize your look without buying anything new. Start with the overlap if you just want a subtle boost, and go full double set on days you want maximum drama.
